How We Added Privacy to Our HR Office

Privacy became a real concern when our HR department started holding more sensitive conversations in offices with large windows. People walking through the hallway could easily see inside, which wasn't ideal when employees were discussing personal or confidential matters.

We didn't want to install blinds or heavy curtains because they would make the rooms feel darker and more closed off. Instead, we decided to try custom frosted window film. I found Green Line Signs while looking through examples of their commercial work, and their window graphics service seemed like a good fit for what we needed https://greenlinesigns.com/ .

We chose a patterned frosted film that created a semi-opaque effect without completely blocking the natural light. From a distance, it actually looked quite similar to etched glass, so the finished result felt much more professional than a basic privacy sticker. At the same time, it became much harder for people passing by to see what was happening inside the offices.

The installation was straightforward, and the finished windows changed the atmosphere of the HR area quite a bit. The rooms still felt bright and open, but employees had considerably more visual privacy during sensitive conversations. Green Line Signs also works with storefront signs, interior signage, vehicle wraps, window graphics, and sign permits, so they were able to handle the project as part of their broader commercial signage services.

I was especially happy that we managed to improve privacy without making the office look closed in or sacrificing the natural light.
